This series is epic. There's old school hatred (read: Kobe snubbed for the MVP by opponent Steve Nash). There's fighting, there are dirty fouls, there's great basketball and very sloppy play.
Only, Nash and the Suns are the team you're supposed to like. The team that makes you think there's hope for the NBA again. Unselfish play. Run and Gun offense. Good, solid fundamentals. The suburbs, if you will.
But Kobe's the fix. Kobe's the loft apartment that's too much money. Kobe's not safe.
The thing of it is: everyone believed Kobe was getting the ball. Everyone believed Kobe was taking the last shot. Everyone believed it was going in. And it did. And it was unbelievable.

Don't think so.
He does not make anyone on his team look better or force them to rise to another level.

But the Suns play 5 players....and they can't stop him. And the Suns are one of the best 5 teams out there. And again, they can't stop him.
And don't use the Basketball Jesus' name like that. It's either: Larry, Larry Legend, or Bird. Not...well...what you wrote. You make him sound like somebody Forrest Gump would show his butt too.
Larry Legend. So this is the NBA 15LL. If the Suns are smart they can do the Bob MacAdoo manuever (see 1970's Buffalo Braves, yeah they had a team back them...now the LA Clippers)which is to let him shoot the lights out but don't let anybody else score. The result was that MacAdoo had a lot of points but the team lost.
BYE! BYE! Lakers. Once again, the basketball prophecy come true: a one man show is nothing but an ego trip. Enjoy the off season Kobe and don't let your ego hit you on the way down.
