Most Unneccessary Item
It's not the greatest invention of all time. But the iPod's probably the best example of "I don't really need it but now that I have it, it's the greatest thing ever!". We've owned one since September (Got it free with this). All my songs are in it, some 980 tunes. Everything from Derek Webb (see right) and Bruce Springsteen to the soundtrack from Newsies (highly underrated movie). Even Mrs. G's music's on it! And it's all at the push of a button. Plus I've got a stereo and car extension so I can listen to it anywhere. Again, it's not really that vital to my life, but I can't say it's not the best and coolest thing ever.
The thing of it is: if you don't have it, don't worry about it. But you might want to think about getting one.

Yes! An excellent film that delves into character flaws, that echo our own weaknessess. Yet, the movie is left without hope except for the bear's release which is a release from past pain.
I'd argue the movie does leave us with a great deal of hope. Take for example the final conversation between Einar and Mitch as the movie ends. One that is stirred from Mitch's encounter with the bear and Einar and Jean's resolution. As the shot flys away, we feel so does past pain from all the characters.
Point well taken.
OK, why aren't these with the correct post?
Anyway, the greatest invention of all time:
The spork.
The iPod comes in a close second.
I love the spork
I love my ipod almost as much as I love lie itself...which could be an indication of how much I currently value life, ha ha.

The fact that Einar Diaz is in Buffalo (and not Cleveland) this season gives me a lot of hope.
And my mp3 player is just awesome.
Just...awesome.
40 gigs of the rockity roll.
