Will be at tonights game as a result of the Mrs alma mater (graduate school MBA) giving tickets away. Prior to the game we will have an entire tour of the stadium and then some great food.
On Sunday afternoon we will be at the game again. This time taking sister-in-law for her first game ever at Fenway and her birthday gift. Pay attention to the third/fouth inning, we have arranged for a Happy Birthday announcement.
As a little girl, she was the March of Dimes child of the year for Massachusetts.
The Red Sox organization has been outstanding with respects to bringing handicap people to the stadium.
Go Sox!!!!!!!!!!!

Who are you? And I hate you.

It isn't so much the date, I remember it well. Ir isn't so much the way it was won, spectacular for a journeyman player. It isn't so much that they lost later in the playoffs to Oakland due to a Roger Clemens meltdown.
What makes it so awesome is that it is Boston and Fenway, the players, their numbers, the history.
To paraphrase GKC in Orthodoxy, Aarong favorite author, in a Red Sox context, 'DO IT AGAIN...DO IT AGAIN.' And that is the reason: magic.

The game tonight was a heartbreaker, oh so close. Tonights game was supported by the new owners of Sunday River/Sugarloaf/Loon Mountains. They gave away approximately 35,000 tickets to ski/board by January 18,2008.
Who am I? I will answer simply as the person that detests hotdogs!

Is this turning into some type of Anonymous thing where all the Anons know who each other is.

Anyway, throwing out G.K. on me. Nice. I do believe that that God says to the grass at Fenway each morning, "Do it again".

And last night's game was horrible. But tonight... tonight's the night.

I second Anon's comments iff (philosophy term, not a typo) the Red Sox win the division before then. Otherwise, do not attend. You are bad luck.

And I know who you are. I think. Maybe.

See I told you that you should'nt have gone today. Nobody listen to me

I did attend today's game and as we all now know the team lost. As an attempt to remove the jinx that I may have created. The hot dog that I had for a snack was true to form, disgusting. Gosh, what sane person eats those things.?

Are you sure it was a hot dog? There re other things at Fenway that are long, greasy, and gross.
